MAN TGS fuse box location

The principal fuse and relay carrier is behind the passenger-side section of the instrument panel. Turn the retaining screws counterclockwise to open the cover. Layout and equipment can vary by production year, cab and optional equipment, so compare the vehicle label before replacing a fuse.

Cigarette lighter and power socket fuse

In the illustrated panel, position 10 (F158) protects the cigarette lighter and 12 V socket. Always verify the marking on the cover because equipment-specific layouts can differ.

Safe fuse replacement

  1. Switch off the ignition and electrical consumers.
  2. Match the position with the cover diagram and circuit description.
  3. Test the fuse or inspect its metal link.
  4. Fit only the same fuse type and amperage.

Important: if a replacement fuse fails again, inspect the circuit instead of installing a higher-rated fuse.
