The Ford Escape has been produced from 2000 to the present in four generations with various engine modifications, including hybrid. In the European market it is also known as the Ford Maverick. The first generation was produced in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. During this time, the car has received updates. The second generation was assembled in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

No fundamental changes were made to the design, so the location of the fuse and relay blocks is the same for the first and second generations. In our material you will find a description of the fuses and relays for the Ford Escape of the 1st and 2nd generations, with block diagrams and photos. We will also separately note the cigarette lighter fuse.

Fuse box in the Ford Escape cabin

It is located under the instrument panel (lower part of the dashboard) on the passenger side and is covered by a protective cover. To access it, simply lift it into a special recess in the cover using a flat screwdriver.
