Fuse box diagram (fuse location), location and purpose of fuses and relays Subaru Forester mk4 / SJ (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018).

Checking and replacing fuses
Fuses are designed to melt when overloaded to prevent damage to the wiring harness and electrical equipment. If any lights, accessories or other electrical controls do not work, check the appropriate fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it.
- Turn the ignition key to the “LOCK” position and turn off all electrical accessories.
- Remove the cover.
- Determine which fuse may be blown. The back of each fuse box cover shows a diagram of each fuse.
- Remove the fuse using a fuse puller (it is stored in the main fuse box).
- Inspect the fuse. If it is blown, replace it with a spare fuse of the same rating. Spare fuses are stored in the main fuse box cover.
- If the same fuse blows again, it indicates a malfunction in its system. Contact your SUBARU dealer for repair.
The fuse puller and spare fuses are stored in the main fuse box cover in the engine compartment.
Notification
- Never replace a fuse with a fuse of a higher rating or with a material other than the fuse, as this may cause serious damage or fire.
- We recommend that you always carry spare fuses.
