Checking and Replacing Fuses As we know, fuses protect the electrical systems of our cars from overload. When a component stops working, it is probably a circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Therefore, before repairing a component, check the fuse that is responsible for that component. A blown fuse will indicate a melted or completely broken wire inside the fuse.
Keep this in mind before replacing the fuse!
- remove the key from the ignition
- check if everything is turned off
- always replace fuses with the same amperage.

Passenger lounge
The passenger compartment fuse blocks are located behind the fuse cover in front of the driver’s seat. Pull the fuse cover to remove it.
