In the entry below, we present the diagrams and locations of fuse and relay blocks for Mitsubishi Outlander III years of manufacture: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021.
The Mitsubishi Outlander III is the third generation of the popular SUV produced by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors. The model was first introduced in 2012 and was produced until 2021.
Outlander III has been completely updated compared to previous generations. It has a modern design, characterized by more aggressive lines and a more dynamic appearance. The body dimensions have also been increased, which has contributed to an increase in interior space and improved passenger comfort.
One of the key features of the Mitsubishi Outlander III was the introduction of advanced safety and driver assistance technologies. Depending on the trim level, various advanced systems were available, such as blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping system, preventive emergency braking and many others. All this contributed to safer driving.
In terms of powertrain, the Outlander III offered a variety of options. Front-wheel drive versions were more popular in urban environments and on roads with good traction, while all-wheel drive (4WD) versions provided more confident handling on more difficult terrain.
The Outlander III was available with a variety of powertrains, including gasoline engines of various capacities and modern diesel engines with improved fuel economy.
The interior of the Mitsubishi Outlander III boasts high-quality finishes, and the center console has been designed with simplicity and ergonomics in mind. The luggage compartment capacity has been increased, making it more practical for everyday use.
Towards the end of production of the third-generation Outlander, a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version was also introduced – a hybrid car with the ability to charge batteries from a socket, which allowed it to travel a certain distance solely on electric power.
The Mitsubishi Outlander III has proven popular in the market both among families looking for a versatile SUV and among those looking for more environmentally friendly options thanks to the PHEV hybrid version.
Checking and Replacing Fuses As we know, fuses protect the electrical systems of our cars from overload. When a component stops working, it is probably a circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Therefore, before repairing a component, check the fuse that is responsible for that component. A blown fuse will indicate a melted or completely broken wire inside the fuse.
Keep this in mind before replacing the fuse!
- remove the key from the ignition
- check if everything is turned off
- always replace fuses with the same amperage.
Fuse box on the instrument panel
The passenger compartment fuse blocks are located behind the fuse cover in front of the driver’s seat, as shown in the illustration. Pull the fuse cover to remove it.

- A – Main fuse box
- B – Auxiliary fuse block
